National Junior Honor Society

Students who are academically eligible for National Junior Honor Society will receive notification by September 7, 2018. The formal application and essay are attached for your perusal. All essays and applications must be turned into me, in room 102, by 3:10, October 5th. 
It will be mandatory to meet with me and a student officer at least one time during the application process. No exceptions. 
For planning purposes, the formal Induction ceremony will take place Monday, November 12th, at 6:30 P.M. Further information will be forthcoming. 
HALLOWEEN COSTUME Dance for 7th and 8th graders will be Friday, October 26th, from 7 to 9 P.M. 
Cost to attend will be $10
Tickets will be sold Monday 10/22 , Tuesday 10/23, and Wednesday 10/24 during lunches. 
Privilege Denial will be in effect. 
Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent.

Children must NOT:

1. Carry objects that are pointed and may be dangerous
2.. Bring toy guns, swords, knives or fake blood
3. Wear roller skates, roller blades, or ride scooters or any wheeled vehicle
4. Wear masks that limit vision due to safety reasons
5. Wear costumes that excessively expose the anatomy
6. Come to school with face paint tubes. If applying face paint, it must be done at home
7. Wear pajamas

Grateful for the chance to sell hot chocolate today during all lunches! Over $200 was raised to go towards our Relay for Life team!
