Newspaper:
The Newspaper Club is open to all Middle School students. We are currently working on a new name for the club for next year. The Suzy Gazette is Phillipsburg Middle School's new approach to sharing its news with the school and community! Updates are made to the Suzy Web-site throughout the year, about two months, to share the events and activities of the students at PMS. The club meets all year long from September to June. Anyone interested in using their creativity, and has a desire to make a difference in the middle school, is strongly encouraged to join.

National Junior Honor Society:
The National Junior Honor Society is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding middle level students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.
Students are eligible for NJHS after they have done the following:
* Earned 4 consecutive marking periods of 90 or above in ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Physical Education
* Completed an application containing evidence to show the below information:

The Phillipsburg Middle School offers a variety of clubs and activities for students to become a part of the school environment. While participation is not required, we encourage all students to participate. Membership and participation in all student programs and all school-sponsored activities is contingent upon appropriate behavior as outlined in the STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT, as well as specific criteria established by each advisor.
